METAL BUILD DRAGON SCALE "Mashin Hero Wataru Ryuwomaru" Confirmed for Commercialization, Features "Phoenix King Form" Transformation Mechanism!

Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company's Collectors Toy Division TAMASHII NATIONS' popular alloy toy METAL BUILD's derivative new series『METAL BUILD DRAGON SCALE』, recently showcased the latest prototype of its second release,「Ryuwomaru」, from "Mashin Hero Wataru", and simultaneously announced its confirmed commercialization.

『METAL BUILD DRAGON SCALE』continues the characteristics of the past MB series, such as "alloy parts paired with a heavy, substantial paint finish" and "reinterpreting the design style to match the character", while also adding new elements like "movable exterior armor resembling dragon scales" and "internal structures housing a soul". In the first release, "METAL BUILD DRAGON SCALE Ryujinmaru", one could already see the intricate golden dragon-shaped frame and the movable armor structure that enhances both styling and articulation, injecting a wealth of new ideas into a classic mecha.

The second release,「Ryuwomaru」, not only continues the series' characteristics but will also be the first METAL BUILD product to feature a transformation mechanism. The prototype showcased this year revealed for the first time its transformed "Phoenix King Form" appearance. Unlike the original, it boasts a larger and sharper head. The wings, formed from its transformed legs, differ from the original's rounded curves, featuring more intricate mechanical details, layering, and a streamlined silhouette, aligning with the MB series' refined and powerful design aesthetic.
