Issued by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATION, the "PROPLICA" series, which brings fictional props to life with the latest technology, recently exhibited a prototype of the latest work, the "Master Sword", from Nintendo's globally popular video game series 'The Legend of Zelda'.

Although the background settings of each 'The Legend of Zelda' title vary, the "Master Sword" is undoubtedly the most iconic and powerful weapon of the protagonist, Link, in most of the games. Across different 'The Legend of Zelda' installments, while the Master Sword's appearance remains largely consistent, it possesses diverse mythical backgrounds and lore. It is both the personal sword of the Goddess Hylia and a holy blade imbued with powerful demon-banishing abilities, sometimes even a legendary sword that transcends time. However, it is often sealed or loses most of its power in the early stages of the game, only regaining its full strength as a formidable weapon against the Demon King Ganondorf as game progress advances.

The "PROPLICA Master Sword" currently on display showcases only its overall appearance. It is evident that the entire piece is crafted in a near 1:1 scale, faithfully recreating its distinctive winged guard, the Triforce emblem at the base of the blade, and the unique metallic texture of the sword. Previous PROPLICA products, in addition to their 1:1 scale, have also featured rich sound and light effects. Therefore, we can anticipate this "Master Sword" to play in-game sounds such as attack and spin attack effects, and even have the blade glow, much like in 'Breath of the Wild' and 'Tears of the Kingdom'!
