Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's collectible toy division TAMASHII NATIONS, following releases like "Ichigo Kurosaki" and "Byakuya Kuchiki" in its popular "S.H.Figuarts" action figure series, is once again launching a new product from "BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc" – "S.H.Figuarts Kenpachi Zaraki". The suggested retail price is 9,900 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in June 2024.
Kenpachi Zaraki, Captain of the 11th Division of the Gotei 13, and the eleventh and current "Kenpachi," is a battle maniac born for combat, often disregarding the bigger picture solely for the thrill of intense fighting. Not only is he tall and imposing, but he also possesses a fearsome and terrifying appearance, with a massive scar on his face coupled with a maniacal grin that strikes fear into all who see it. However, beneath his seemingly bloodthirsty and ruthless exterior lies the heart of a simple, passionate, and pure man. He wears an eyepatch on his right eye that absorbs his spiritual power, allowing him to suppress his Reiatsu and enjoy prolonged battles.
The "S.H.Figuarts Kenpachi Zaraki" action figure stands approximately 17 cm tall, accurately reflecting his height difference compared to other characters. It faithfully recreates his distinctive sleeveless Captain's haori, including the tattered, jagged edges at the bottom. To maintain the intricate design, some parts are made of soft material, and combined with various movable joints, it achieves a high degree of articulation for dynamic posing. In addition to a standard face, it includes interchangeable face parts such as a downward-gazing face, a smiling face, a battle face, and a smiling face with the eyepatch removed. These can be combined with his Zanpakuto (drawn / sheathed at the waist) and interchangeable hand gestures to recreate intense battle scenes!
