World-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys yesterday (11th) announced its latest product from the DC film "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice," the "Batman (2.0)" 1/6th scale collectible figure! Both the Regular Version MMS731 and the Deluxe Version MMS732 will be released simultaneously, and this article will provide information on the Deluxe Version.
This "Batman 2.0," optimized based on the 2016 "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" design, stands approximately 32.5 cm tall with 30 points of articulation. Compared to the MMS342 version, it is noticeably larger, especially the upper body and chest, which are significantly more robust. The abdominal muscle sculpt has also been slightly adjusted, and notably, even the 'package' seems to have been upgraded! The overall physique and lines are more natural thanks to the newly tailored suit. The cape features an embossed texture and improved tailoring, resulting in a more realistic drape. Furthermore, the articulation of the joints has been enhanced, allowing for more dynamic and lively combat poses.
For the head sculpts, there are three in total: a masked head sculpt revealing actor Ben Affleck's facial contours, and an additional articulated masked head sculpt exclusive to the Deluxe Version. The masked head sculpt features a seamless neck design and can be varied with movable eyeballs and three interchangeable lower face parts. The articulated masked head sculpt, exclusive to the Deluxe Version, has a separate neck piece. The unmasked head sculpt captures a pensive expression, exuding a subtle sense of melancholy. It also features movable eyes and comes with two interchangeable sculpted hair parts. In addition to all the contents of the Regular Version, the Deluxe Version also includes a wired cape and a specially designed diorama base inspired by a building exterior, complete with a detachable ladder.
