The popular action figure series "S.H.Figuarts", released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, officially announced today the launch of a product project based on the popular manga "Yu Yu Hakusho", with multiple figure products expected to be unveiled sequentially throughout 2024.

"Yu Yu Hakusho" is a popular manga by Japanese mangaka Yoshihiro Togashi, which began serialization in 1990. It tells the story of delinquent protagonist Yusuke Urameshi, who becomes a Spirit Detective after dying in a traffic accident and masters his signature technique, the "Spirit Gun," through training. Initially, Yusuke and his assistant Botan solved cases of yokai causing trouble in the human world as Spirit Detectives. After forming a team with Kuwabara, Kurama, Hiei, and others, the fighting elements were taken to the extreme, bringing classic and thrilling arcs like the "Dark Tournament," "Chapter of Sensui," and "Chapter of the Demon World Unification." Recently, it has once again generated buzz due to the Netflix live-action adaptation.

While "S.H.Figuarts" has not yet announced its product lineup, core characters like Yusuke, Kuwabara, Kurama, Hiei, and the highly popular "heroine" Botan are undoubtedly expected to be among the initial releases. Fans can look forward to flexibly posing each character with the "S.H.Figuarts" series' articulated joints, and recreating various special moves with weapons and effect parts.
