Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY's assembly model series "MODEROID" will release an assembly model of the titular protagonist mecha "RahXephon" (ラーゼフォン) from the 2002 robot anime series "RahXephon" in July 2024! The price will be 7,500 JPY.

"RahXephon" (Japanese name: ラーゼフォン, English: RahXephon) is a Japanese science fiction robot anime, co-produced by the production committee and Fuji TV, and began airing on Fuji TV in January 2002. It consists of 26 episodes, and a theatrical film, "RahXephon: Pluralitas Concentio," was released in 2003. The story describes how in 2013, the world was devastated, with only the residents of Tokyo surviving, who continued to live believing this to be true. Until 2015, protagonist Ayato Kamina, on his way to an exam, unexpectedly gets caught in an attack by a mysterious army, encounters the enigmatic woman Reika Mishima, and the heroine Haruka Shitow. Through this, he comes into contact with RahXephon, and after piloting it, he realizes that Tokyo has been occupied by the aliens "MU," covered by a giant spherical barrier 160 kilometers in diameter called "Tokyo Jupiter."
This RahXephon assembly model from MODEROID stands approximately 19.5 cm tall, with articulated joints throughout, allowing for dynamic poses such as kneeling without issue. Through various interchangeable parts, it can recreate the open and closed states of its wings, as well as changes to its 'Eye of Truth' on the face and its mouth. Additionally, weapon parts include the Bow of Light and Sword of Light, along with multiple sets of interchangeable hand parts. As a bonus part, a mini figure of "Reika Mishima" is included (requires self-painting).
