Japanese company PROOF (プルーフ), whose products span gashapon, anime/manga character merchandise, and PVC figures, recently announced new products featuring "Bakugo" and "Ochaco", following the release of their first product based on My Hero Academia, "Izuku Midoriya Deku ver.". This article will provide details on the "Ochaco Uraraka Uravity ver." 1/7 scale pre-painted PVC figure.
This figure stands approximately 21.5 cm tall, perfectly recreating Ochaco Uraraka's light and airy pose with her palms slightly joined as she activates her "Zero Gravity" Quirk. From her round, ball-like eyes and plump face to her battle suit, primarily deep blue with pink accents, every detail is meticulously reproduced. In addition to Ochaco herself, the pink gradient effects and the sparkling cross effects accompanying her Quirk activation are also excellent. The seemingly heavy rocks and rebar cleverly convey a floating visual effect through the base. Of course, this Ochaco figure, like Izuku and Bakugo, also includes an interchangeable head sculpt, replacing her gentle smiling expression with a serious, battle-ready face, making her both adorable and formidable!
The editor personally finds it interesting that while admiring this piece, collectors will likely find themselves tilting their heads due to Ochaco's pose, as if they too are affected by the Zero Gravity Quirk and entering a weightless state.
