Bandai Shokugan "SMP Crayon Shin-chan Superconducting Kantam Robot" Recreates Classic Special Moves like Kantam Iron Fist and Boomerang!

Bandai Candy, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., is releasing the latest product from its popular "SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT" assembly model series: "SMP [SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT] Superconducting Kantam Robot," based on "Crayon Shin-chan." The suggested retail price is 4,950 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in May 2024!

Designed after the toy of five-year-old kindergarten student Shinnosuke Nohara from the beloved national anime "Crayon Shin-chan," Shin-chan's idol robot—the Superconducting "Kantam Robot"—makes its appearance in the SMP [SHOKUGAN MODELING PROJECT] series! Standing approximately 150 mm tall, it faithfully recreates the Kantam Robot's proportions and styling from the show. Notably, this model features a specification where parts can be easily removed by hand without the need for tools. The molded colors are also color-coded using the plastic's inherent color (+ paintwork), achieving a high level of accuracy without the need for additional stickers!

Maintaining SMP's unique excellent articulation design, the movable joints in the shoulders, hips, and ankles allow for various classic attack poses. With detachable arm parts, jet effect parts, and interchangeable hand gestures, you can recreate the "Kantam Iron Fist" special move's firing scene. The backpack on its back can not only be used for flight but also detached to serve as the "Kantam Boomerang"!
