Japanese merchandise and sundries manufacturer GRANTdesign recently announced their latest products from "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End": the magic wand keychains (杖キーホルダー) for "Frieren" and "Fern"! They are scheduled for release in February 2024.

The Japanese manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End", originally written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, tells the story of the elven mage Frieren who, after a decade-long adventure with the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter, returns as a hero. Frieren, an immortal elf who can live for millennia, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. However, after experiencing the deaths and aging of her companions, she begins to deeply understand the impermanence of life and regrets not having truly known others. With the passing of the hero Himmel as a turning point, Frieren embarks once again on a journey to experience the meaning of life and time.

In the series, Frieren and Fern, as mages, are most famously associated with... not the potion that only melts clothes! But rather, the essential magic wands of a mage. This time, GRANTdesign has crafted these wands using materials such as zinc alloy, glass, brass, acrylic, and aluminum. At a size of approximately 12 cm, they faithfully recreate the wand designs from the series, striving to achieve a premium feel that makes one almost believe they could cast real magic. However, for Fern's version, the ribbon color looks a bit too blue, doesn't it!
