With the Lunar New Year just around the corner, LEGO Taiwan is launching its most anticipated event in the country, the "Leaping Dragon Builds a New Spring" Divine Dragon's Secret Realm Treasure Hunt. The event returns to the 2F Dream Plaza at Uni-President Department Store in Taipei from today (the 19th) until February 14th. This year, for the first time, an additional event will be held at the Water Dance Square on the first floor of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi in Taichung to celebrate the Year of the Dragon with consumers. LEGO Taiwan is introducing an interactive quest experience built around situational puzzle-solving for the first time, inviting consumers to transform into little warriors, ascend Divine Dragon Mountain to find the lost Dragon Pearl, and create wonderful Lunar New Year memories with LEGO!
At the same time, the event venue features a once-in-12-years giant dragon photo-op spot, a 30x-scale version of the "40611 Year of the Dragon" set. It also recreates the New Year set "80112 Auspicious Dragon" to create an auspicious scene of a dragon coiling in the sky, and extends elements from "80113 Family Reunion Celebration" to create the exterior of a limited-time pop-up store for the event, showcasing a prosperous scene full of New Year's blessings and popularity. During the LEGO Taiwan New Year pop-up event, several limited gift-with-purchase promotions, presented as "Divine Dragon's Gifts," will be offered. Among them, the most collectible is a limited-edition gift-with-purchase designed by LEGO® Certified Professional Racky Huang in his first collaboration with Toy World: the "LEGO® Pingxi Sky Lantern Brick Set," limited to 500 units, to celebrate an auspicious Year of the Dragon with consumers.
LEGO's "Leaping Dragon Builds a New Spring" Celebrates Through the Lantern Festival! A Giant 30x-Scale Divine Dragon Descends, Recreating New Year Sets to Craft a Joyful Scene of a Dragon Welcoming Spring
LEGO Taiwan celebrates the arrival of the Year of the Dragon by creating the "Leaping Dragon Builds a New Spring" event at Uni-President Department Store in Taipei and the Water Dance Square on the first floor of Shin Kong Mitsukoshi in Taichung, showcasing a 30x-scale photo-op installation of the "40611 Year of the Dragon" set. This giant, festive LEGO installation is an absolute must-visit tourist spot for the New Year holidays! In addition to the photo spot, the venue specially recreates the Year of the Dragon New Year set "80112 Auspicious Dragon" to create a fantastical and mysterious puzzle-solving quest experience area. At the same time, it also draws inspiration from the festive reunion atmosphere of "80113 Family Reunion Celebration" to create a limited-time New Year market pop-up store, celebrating the auspicious dragon welcoming the new spring with consumers all the way to the Lantern Festival, officially open from today until February 14th.
LEGO Taiwan's First-Ever Situational Puzzle-Building Quest Experience Invites Consumers to Become Little Warriors and Ascend Divine Dragon Mountain on a Mission to Find the Lost Dragon PearlThis year, the "Leaping Dragon Builds a New Spring" event combines situational puzzle-solving and building to create four major quest challenges, testing intelligence, building skills, and observation. Players are invited to enter the "Mysterious Dragon's Grotto" and use LEGO bricks to repair the stone gate and escape the cave; brave the "Hurricane Gorge" to solve a riddle against the wind and obtain a puzzle-solving treasure; step into the "Bamboo Forest Illusion" to use the colors of the seven-colored treasure card to unlock the Eye of Truth and crack the code of the Divine Dragon's treasure chest; finally, the little warriors will work together, using their courage energy to ascend to the "Divine Dragon's Hall" and receive the dragon's blessing. This is the most fun Divine Dragon's Secret Realm treasure hunt, waiting for you to take on the challenge!
In addition to the puzzle-solving quest experience, LEGO is also launching gift-with-purchase promotions.
