SEGA PRIZE, a prize figure series from Japanese game company SEGA, will release its latest sitting character figure, "Frieren," based on the popular work "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End." It is scheduled for release in June 2024!
The Japanese manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (葬送のフリーレン)," originally written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, tells the story of Frieren, an elven mage, who returns as a hero after a ten-year adventure with the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter. Frieren, who can live for a thousand years without aging, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. After experiencing the deaths and aging of her companions, she begins to deeply feel the impermanence of life and regrets not having truly understood others. Frieren embarks on a new journey to experience the meaning of life and time.
The SEGA Prize "Premium Chokonose Frieren" character figure features a mysterious kneeling pose with both knees on the ground. Her slightly mischievous expression combined with the pose of her hands greatly increases the potential for Frieren to be "played with" in unexpected ways! It's truly hard to imagine what collectors will have her holding.
