From Shanghai's emerging statue brand "Infinity Studio" (Infinity Studio) announced its latest product from "SNK Heroines: Tag Team Frenzy", the "Athena Asamiya" 1/2 scale statue, simultaneously releasing P1 and P2 versions, with an estimated release in Q4 2024.
Athena Asamiya (麻宮アテナ, Athena Asamiya) first appeared in the SNK game "Psycho Soldier" and has been very active in "The King of Fighters" series. She appears to be a sweet-looking Japanese high school girl and idol singer, yet possesses psychic powers inherited from her ancestor, Princess Athena. She learned Bajiquan from Chin Gentsai and fights using both her psychic abilities and Bajiquan. Her different costume designs in each game iteration are a popular topic among fans.
The "Athena Asamiya" 1/2 scale statue features both the P1 and P2 color schemes from the game, and is crafted from two different materials: resin and silicone. Standing approximately 95 cm tall, it brings her sailor uniform idol appearance to life! The head sculpt features skin-like PU texture, showcasing the idol's translucent skin. Glass eyeballs further capture the girl's sparkling eyes, complemented by individually applied eyelashes and delicate makeup, enhancing the sweet smile with an idol's dazzling charm! The costume authentically reproduces transparent beads on the collar and metal buttons on the belt, while the black socks are made from real silk fabric, achieving a truly realistic texture!
