The popular action figure series 'S.H.Figuarts', released by TAMASHII NATIONS, the collector's toy division of Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Company, has announced its latest product from the theatrical anime film 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM': 'Lacus Clyne (COMPASS Haori Ver.)'. The suggested retail price is 9,900 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in August 2024!
'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM' is a sequel to 'Mobile Suit Gundam SEED DESTINY' after approximately 20 years, with anime director Mitsuo Fukuda continuing to helm the project. Set in Cosmic Era 75, it tells the story of how, after the great war, the anti-Coordinator organization 'Blue Cosmos' continues to incite conflicts worldwide. The formerly opposing Earth Alliance and P.L.A.N.T, along with the neutral nation Orb, jointly established the world peace monitoring organization 'COMPASS'. Lacus Clyne, the driving force behind ending the war, serves as its first president, and Kira Yamato and others participate as members of the organization, intervening in conflicts across the globe.
The 'S.H.Figuarts Lacus Clyne (COMPASS Haori Ver.)' action figure stands approximately 13 cm tall, presented in her new design wearing the battle attire of the newly established 'COMPASS' organization. The entire figure is crafted using the S.H.Figuarts series' excellent articulation technology, and it comes with a rich array of expression parts: smiling face, serious face, sad face, distressed face, etc., along with various interchangeable hand parts, a Haro (Haro) spherical robot, a blue mechanical bird, and can be enjoyed together with the separately sold 'S.H.Figuarts Kira Yamato (COMPASS Pilot Suit Ver.)' to recreate various scenes!
