From Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS company's collector's toy division TAMASHII NATIONS, the popular alloy toy "Chogokin Damashii" series has officially announced its latest product, "ChouRyuJin," from the robot anime "The King of Braves GaoGaiGar," with the product number GX-109! The suggested retail price is 41,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in July 2024.
"ChouRyuJin," formed by the symmetrical combination and fusion of the twin brave robots HyoRyu and EnRyu from the strongest brave robot corps, combines the personalities and abilities of HyoRyu and EnRyu. It can simultaneously fire high-temperature and low-temperature energy projectiles from the cannons mounted on its arms and sides of its waist for attack. It can also equip the specialized Megaton Tool "Eraser Head" to neutralize energy generated by explosions or force fields, for disaster relief or to assist GaoGaiGar in combat.
The "Chogokin Damashii GX-109 ChouRyuJin" features two units, "HyoRyu" and "EnRyu," which possess a transformation mechanism that allows them to complete a "System Change" from robot mode to vehicle mode without the use of replacement parts. It faithfully reproduces the anime's proportions and includes numerous gimmicks for play. Furthermore, there is a "Symmetrical Docking" combination transformation for the two units!
In the combined ChouRyuJin form, detail enhancement parts are included for the chest, forearms, legs, and other areas to more completely reproduce ChouRyuJin's appearance. The chest details improve articulation, the shoulders can rotate open, and the abdomen can be moved to strike a proud chest-out pose! Additionally, the large weapon "Eraser Head" is included, which can be held in front of the chest to enjoy the classic firing pose, or it can be attached to the back using the included hanging parts!
