The assembly model kit series 'MODEROID', launched by Japan's MECHA SMILE brand, today announced that its latest product, 'Daitai-Oh', from the Eldran series robot anime 'Complete Victory Daitai-Oh', is scheduled for release in July 2024.

'Complete Victory Daitai-Oh' is the fourth installment in the Eldran series, following 'Zettai Muteki Raijin-Oh', 'Genki Bakuhatsu Ganbaruger', and 'Nekketsu Saikyo Go-Saurer'. Although it was only serialized in magazines at the time and was not successfully animated, its story, characters, and mecha designs were largely complete. Based on the fairy tale 'Momotaro', it depicts the story of Gokuraku Elementary School battling the Oni Empire. The main robots appearing in the story, 'Tei-Oh', 'Riku-Oh', and 'Ku-Oh', are designed after Momotaro's companions: the monkey, dog, and pheasant, respectively. After the three machines transform and combine, they form the even more powerful humanoid robot 'Daitai-Oh'!

'MODEROID Daitai-Oh' is constructed using multi-color molded parts, some pre-painted parts, and decals for color correction. Once completed, it can recreate the three machines: 'Tei-Oh', 'Riku-Oh', and 'Ku-Oh'. Each features a cool design, articulated joints, and the armed Tei-Oh Sword, allowing for individual play.

By replacing some parts, it can transform and combine to recreate the 17 cm tall 'Daitai-Oh'! After combination, it not only ensures flexible articulation in various joints but also boasts a cool physique. It can be posed in battle stances with the Daitai Sword, Daitai Shield, and various interchangeable hand parts. The 'Daitai Sword' can be freely interchanged between a transformation mode and a mode that prioritizes balanced proportions.
