Chinese toy manufacturer Rocket Toys (ROC), officially authorized by Pierrot China, will launch its latest product, the "Deidara" 1/6 scale articulated figure, based on "Naruto Shippuden," with an anticipated release in Q4 2024!
Deidara is the youngest member of the Akatsuki organization, wearing a "Blue" (青) character ring on his right index finger, symbolizing the "Azure Dragon." Originally a clay sculptor from the Hidden Stone Village in the Land of Earth, he delved into the forbidden jutsu of "imbuing chakra into matter" in pursuit of a deeper form of art, becoming obsessed with explosive art. After joining Akatsuki, he formed a two-person team with Sasori, but his dedication to the artistic philosophy of "the beauty of a fleeting moment" often led to conflicts with Sasori, who held a different artistic view.
The "Rocket Toys Deidara" 1/6 scale articulated figure stands approximately 30 cm tall (including the high ponytail), featuring a fully articulated body. It utilizes a combination of materials such as fabric, alloy, PVC, and ABS to realistically recreate the Akatsuki robe and costume. In addition to faithfully reproducing Deidara's characteristic dark eye circles and hair covering half his face, the design incorporates movable eyes, significantly enhancing the play experience! It comes with two interchangeable expressions: a normal head sculpt and a grinning battle face, which can be used with the eye patch.
The costume includes accessories such as a straw hat, mesh undershirt, shoes, and clothing. The Akatsuki robe also features built-in magnets, allowing the front flaps to open and close naturally. Among the interchangeable hand gestures, the most striking are the mouths with tongues sticking out on both palms. Additionally, it includes six types of explosive clay (bird-shaped), four stands, and silicone arm accessories, enabling fans to recreate intense "Explosion is Art" battle scenes! The bonus tongue-out face and flowing hair accessories are absolute must-haves!
