LEGO 75387 "Boarding the Tantive IV": The Terrifying Imperial Army Arrives!

The Danish LEGO toy company recently revealed several new sets from the sci-fi epic Star Wars. This article will bring you product information for set number 75387, "Boarding the Tantive IV" (tentative translation).

The Tantive IV was the first spaceship to appear before audiences at the opening of 1977's Star Wars: Episode IV – A New Hope. Hot on the heels of the Tantive IV was the colossal Imperial Star Destroyer, whose objective was to reclaim the "Death Star plans" stolen by the Rebel Alliance. As a large contingent of Imperial Stormtroopers poured in and the terrifying Imperial General "Darth Vader" arrived, Leia entrusted the plans and a distress message to R2-D2. R2 and the protocol droid C-3PO then escaped in an escape pod, thus beginning a great epic adventure...

This scene set recreates the moment the Galactic Empire's forces forcibly boarded the ship. It contains a total of 502 pieces, building out the interior of the Tantive IV, including the hatch, corridor, and more, in an open-scene format. And it includes an impressive seven LEGO minifigures, including the terrifying Imperial Lord, Darth Vader! Among them are two Imperial Stormtroopers, two Rebel Fleet Troopers, Captain Antilles of the Tantive IV, and a special character celebrating the 25th anniversary of the LEGO Star Wars series: Clone Trooper "Fives". Using the transparent cylindrical piece, you can recreate the Captain being tragically force-choked. This is perfect for collectors who enjoy building up armies or those who haven't yet acquired a Darth Vader minifigure. You can also challenge yourself to expand the scene to make the overall display even cooler!
