Following the 'HG (High Grade)' robot model kit series from Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS HOBBY Division, after the 'Lancelot Albion' and 'Guren Seiten Eight Elements', the latest product from 'Code Geass: Lelouch of the Rebellion', the 'HG 1/35 Gawain', has once again been announced. It has a suggested retail price of 5,500 JPY and is scheduled for release in April 2024!
The IFX-V301 Gawain is a prototype KMF developed by the Holy Britannian Empire. Its massive size is 1.5 times that of a standard KMF. After being seized by the Black Knights leader ZERO, it became his (and C.C.'s) exclusive personal unit. The 'Hadron Cannons' mounted on Gawain's shoulders possess the highest level of firepower among KMFs at the time. All ten fingers on both hands can launch extremely sharp 'Slash Harkens' on wires. It is also equipped with the 'Druid System' for high-speed analysis of complex information, and the 'Float System' for flight, making it highly suitable for use as a commander unit. However, due to the system's complexity, it requires two pilots to achieve maximum performance and is not advantageous in close-quarters combat.
The 'HG 1/35 Gawain' is produced with completely new parts, utilizing the latest technology to recreate its sharp body lines and articulation mechanisms, allowing it to strike poses from scenes in the series. The Float System on its back is incredibly imposing, and the fingertips can be replaced to recreate the state of all ten fingers launching Slash Harkens! The model utilizes gloss injection and metallic gloss injection molding, further enhancing the sharpness and texture of its armor design. The destructive Hadron Cannons on its shoulders are represented with jewel stickers, as the black demon lord's personal unit descends once more!
