Aniplex's BUZZmod. (バズモッド) action figure series in Japan is set to release its latest product, the "BUZZmod. Chisato Nishikigi" 1/12 scale action figure, based on the popular anime "Lycoris Recoil." The suggested retail price is 11,000 JPY, with an anticipated release in October 2024!
The Japanese original TV anime "Lycoris Recoil," produced by A-1 Pictures, is set ten years after the "Radio Tower Incident," a terrorist attack on the Tokyo Radio Tower. Japan's public safety has long been ranked first in the world, but behind this facade, a secret organization called "DA" (Direct Attack) covertly employs a group of young female agents known as "Lycoris" to maintain surface peace. These highly trained girls blend into the city in their school uniforms, responsible for handling and concealing crimes. Chisato Nishikigi, known as the "strongest Lycoris of all time," is an agent who adheres to a philosophy of peace and non-lethal action. She usually works as a waitress at LycoReco, a Japanese-style café in the Tokyo suburbs, and possesses an extremely optimistic and lively personality, always wearing a smile.
The "BUZZmod. Chisato Nishikigi" 1/12 scale action figure stands approximately 14 cm tall, faithfully recreating Chisato's urban camouflage uniform. Details such as the buttons, belt, layered chest, and sleeves are meticulously sculpted. The skirt is made of fabric, allowing for a wide range of leg poses! By fully utilizing the simple yet highly articulated shoulder joints, along with the internal chest and lower abdomen joints, the figure can more stably reproduce the dynamic gunfight actions seen in the series. Coupled with a pistol, shooting effects, and a rich selection of interchangeable expressions and hand gestures, fans can enjoy Chisato's cute yet cool demeanor.
A set purchased together with the "BUZZmod. Takina Inoue" figure includes a special bonus interchangeable "looking left" expression!
