The action figure series "MDLX", released by the renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer threezero, is expected to launch an action figure of Rockman, the protagonist from CAPCOM's famous action game "Rockman" (ROCKMAN), in the second quarter of 2024.
The prestige of the name "Rockman" is known even to those who don't often play games. He is one of CAPCOM's important IPs and a beloved video game character for many, even "that blue scoundrel" in the eyes of Dr. Wily and Blues (laughs). Besides the original Rockman series, spin-off series like "Rockman X" and "Rockman EXE" are all very popular game titles. "Rockman 11: Gears of Fate," released six years ago in 2018, is the latest installment in the original Rockman series. Its return after an eight-year hiatus was still immensely popular, with sales reaching 1.4 million units. To this day, Rockman-related toys remain highly cherished products.
This Rockman figure from threezero's MDLX action figure series stands approximately 10.2 cm tall and features multiple articulated joints from head to toe. Some parts are made of metal, and the structure, combined with plastic, is robust enough, offering both excellent texture and a substantial feel when handled. It can easily strike various in-game poses such as running, sliding, shooting, and jumping. The soles of its feet contain magnets, allowing it to attach to metal surfaces.
Regarding accessories, there are two interchangeable face plates, including a normal expression and a shouting face. Rockman's weapon, the "Rock Buster," can be freely equipped on either the left or right hand and can be combined with effect parts to create a powerful sense of shooting. Additionally, there are interchangeable hand parts and Rockman's most important "E-Tank." The overall content is quite rich.
