Good Smile Arts Shanghai (GSAS), established in China by Japan's Good Smile Company, officially announced today (the 6th) a new 1/7 scale PVC pre-painted figure from the popular naval battle mobile game "Azur Lane": "Shinano: Oborozuki Juuya" (しなの 満ち欠ける朧月)! It is scheduled for release in February 2025, with a suggested retail price of 34,700 JPY.
In "Azur Lane," Shinano is a UR-class armored aircraft carrier belonging to the Sakura Empire faction of the Crimson Axis. Her prototype is the Imperial Japanese Navy aircraft carrier Shinano. Her default in-game illustration depicts a voluptuous beautiful girl with a fox motif, dressed in a gorgeous blue kimono. Her rigging appears to materialize from the ribbons of her clothing, and she is also equipped with three Japanese swords. Shinano's speech is archaic and ethereal, and coupled with her character setting of often traversing between reality and dreams, she exudes a strong sense of mystery.
This Shinano figure, based on the in-game "Oborozuki Juuya" theme, stands approximately 33 cm tall. It faithfully recreates her pose, holding a sake cup in one hand and gently touching her light blue long hair with the other. Her fox ears, the gown adorned with golden embellishments, high heels, and the voluptuous curves of her chest are meticulously sculpted. Her fair, delicate skin and the skirt crafted from transparent material create an elegant, translucent feel, while her voluminous tail conveys a soft, fluffy visual effect. Coupled with the finely textured golden circular frame and the small stand displaying a sake bottle and flowers, Commanders, isn't it time to bring this Shinano home to enjoy a drink with you?
