Aniplex's popular articulated figure series, BUZZmod. (バズモッド), will be releasing its latest product, the "BUZZmod. Ryo Saeba" 1/12 scale articulated figure, based on the popular anime "City Hunter the Movie: Angel Dust"! The suggested retail price is 12,000 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in November 2024!
Tsukasa Hojo's manga series "City Hunter" began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in 1985. Ryo Saeba, the protagonist who is sometimes cool and sometimes lecherous and comical, is a hitman operating out of Shinjuku. He partners with the gender-neutral-looking Kaori Makimura and is known by the alias "City Hunter." He occasionally takes on bodyguard and private detective work, and can be hired by writing the client's code "XYZ" on the message board at Shinjuku Station's east exit (but only for beautiful female clients). In 2023, a new animated film, "City Hunter: Angel Dust," was released in collaboration with Netflix.
