BANDAI CANDY, the Shokugan division of Japan's Bandai Co., Ltd., has announced today that the sixth installment of its popular Shokugan series, 'Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA,' specifically "G-FRAME FA 06," is scheduled for release in July 2024.
'Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA' is a series of articulated Gundam models featuring realistic proportions and intricate detailing. By collecting both the "Articulated Frame Set" and the "Armor Set," collectors can assemble a Gundam model approximately 10 cm tall. The FA (Full Armor) version, an evolution from its predecessor, features improved arm and thigh rear sections with full armor coverage. The knee rear armor connection structure has been removed, eliminating the need for forced cutouts in the calf rear armor to avoid connection tabs. The chest armor is also less prone to detachment compared to previous versions, and the waist joint's ease of assembly and disassembly has been enhanced.
The latest sixth installment, "Mobile Suit Gundam G-FRAME FA 06," will feature two new mobile suits from the theatrical anime film Mobile Suit Gundam SEED FREEDOM: "Rising Freedom Gundam" and "Immortal Justice Gundam." Additionally, as a delightful "easter egg," two iconic mobile suits from the original Mobile Suit Gundam series, "Gyan" and "Char's Gelgoog," will also be included. While these two mobile suits are not from the SEED movie, new mobile suits based on their designs, "Gyan Strom" and "Gelgoog Menace," have appeared in the film.
