Japanese brand GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series, POP UP PARADE, is releasing PVC figures of the protagonist "Sakura Kinomoto" and her friend "Tomoyo Daidouji" from the classic popular anime "Cardcaptor Sakura", scheduled for release in September 2024!
"Cardcaptor Sakura" is an original magical girl series created by the manga group CLAMP and adapted by the Japanese animation studio MADHOUSE. The protagonist, Sakura Kinomoto, accidentally opened a book sealing the Clow Cards, causing them to scatter across the world. Each Clow Card possesses unique abilities and free will. To prevent the Clow Cards from causing widespread destruction, Sakura, at the request of the guardian "Cerberus," became a Cardcaptor, attempting to retrieve all the Clow Cards.
This release features two highly popular characters from the series: the protagonist "Sakura Kinomoto" and her friend and distant relative, "Tomoyo Daidouji." Sakura Kinomoto is a lively and cheerful girl, empathetic yet a bit of a ditz; in contrast, Tomoyo Daidouji, the polite and courteous heiress of the Daidouji Group, always creates new battle costumes for Sakura's appearances. Their profound friendship has spanned all three seasons of "Cardcaptor Sakura" to date, and Tomoyo's affection for Sakura, along with her selfless dedication and willingness to step aside, has further deepened fans' love for these two characters.
For this product, both characters are dressed in their Tomoeda Middle School uniforms from the Clow Card Arc of the anime. Sakura's pose is open and adorable, her body language revealing the protagonist's lively personality from the series; Tomoyo's pose is dignified and elegant, exuding the refined aura of a corporate heiress. The charming sculpt proportions and outfits perfectly capture the youthful exuberance of middle school students!
They are not only best friends and distant relatives but also the best partners, so buying both at once seems inevitable!
