The robot-themed action figure series "ROBOT魂 ver. A.N.I.M.E.", released by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, has announced the latest product from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury", the "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Effect Parts Set", scheduled for release in July 2024.
The "ROBOT魂 ver. A.N.I.M.E." series has previously released several mobile suits from "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury" piloted by protagonist Suletta Mercury, such as "Gundam Aerial", "Gundam Aerial Rebuild", and "Gundam Calibarn". While the characteristic "GUND-Bits" of these series can be recreated in their launch state with clear stands, this alone is insufficient to fully reproduce the in-show combat sequences, akin to funnels.
The newly released "Mobile Suit Gundam: The Witch from Mercury Effect Parts Set" finally completes the missing effect parts for Gundam Aerial, Gundam Aerial Rebuild, and Gundam Calibarn. It includes adjustable clear stands for use with GUND-Bits, thruster effects, shooting effects, as well as circular effects to surround the mobile suit and triangular effects to form shields. Additionally, it features high-output shooting effects for Gundam Aerial Rebuild and thruster jet effects for the four boosters of Gundam Calibarn's "Variable Rod Rifle".
