Following the release of "Frieren" from the popular series "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End," SEGA PRIZE, a division of Japan's SEGA Games, has announced the latest sitting pose character figure in their Premium Chokonose series: the "Himmel" character figure, set to release in July 2024!
The Japanese manga 'Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (葬送のフリーレン),' with original story by Kanehito Yamada and art by Tsukasa Abe, tells the tale of the elven mage Frieren, who, alongside the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter, returns as a hero after a decade-long adventure. Frieren, capable of living for millennia without aging, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. After witnessing the deaths and aging of her companions, she begins to deeply feel the impermanence of life and regrets not having truly understood others. Frieren then embarks on a new journey to experience the meaning of life and time.
The SEGA Prize "Premium Chokonose Himmel" character figure, mirroring the kneeling Frieren, is also designed with both hands raised and a mischievous expression on his face! Originally, one might wonder what his hands would be holding, but when paired with the Hero Himmel, it looks as if they are playfully teasing each other~ However, if not collected alongside Frieren, displaying him alone also has a rather subtle charm!
