Japanese figure manufacturer Wanderer (わんだらー) will release its latest product, the "Shikinami Asuka Langley 1/7 Scale Figure," based on "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time." The suggested retail price is 19,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in January 2025!
The "Deep Dive Pressure-Resistant Provisional Plugsuit" that appeared in "Evangelion: 3.0+1.0 Thrice Upon a Time" was created for the final battle and worn by Asuka and Mari. Featuring a white main color scheme with iridescent accents and personal red and pink lines, its characteristic, as its name suggests, allows the wearer to adapt to drastic pressure changes. Fans refer to it as the "White Plugsuit," while Asuka in the film jokingly called it her "shroud."
The Wanderer "Shikinami Asuka Langley 1/7 Scale Figure" stands approximately 24 cm tall. Based on Asuka's appearance in the "Deep Dive Pressure-Resistant Provisional Plugsuit" during the final battle in "Thrice Upon a Time," Wanderer's original alluring pose, looking back over her shoulder, showcases Asuka's figure, especially the lines from her back to her waist, hips, and toes. Additionally, it's worth noting the plugsuit's paintwork, which, in addition to its pearlescent sheen, retains a subtle hint of Asuka's skin tone showing through. Her flowing hair parts are made of clear material, with a gradient paint application to express the translucent feel of the hair ends. Holding a meticulously recreated "Stop Signal Plug," her serious expression is also quite captivating!
