World-renowned high-end collectible figure manufacturer Hot Toys today (6th) announced two new products from the Star Wars series "Ahsoka": "Baylan Skoll" and his apprentice "Shin Hati"! This article will bring you product information for the "Baylan Skoll" 1/6th scale collectible figure! Expected to ship from Q1 to Q2 2025, with a suggested retail price of HKD 1,790.
The former Jedi Knight "Baylan Skoll" in "Ahsoka" is a fallen Jedi and mercenary who maintains a cooperative relationship with "Morgan Elsbeth." In the series, he displays a calm demeanor and formidable strength. Although he maintained an alliance with Morgan Elsbeth and Grand Admiral Thrawn, in the latter half of the story, Baylan clearly showed no interest in Thrawn's resurgence, always keeping his own agenda. Despite being an antagonist to Ahsoka, the character's aura, portrayed by Ray Stevenson, has made Baylan quite popular.
This figure stands approximately 32 cm tall and features 30 points of articulation, recreating Baylan's imposing physique and his dark green-themed armor and black bodysuit. The irregular textures of the shoulder pads, the devices and detailing on the forearm armor, the belt adorned with green gems, and the heavily worn long boots... all are meticulously crafted. The skirt is made of fabric to minimize interference with articulation, and a black cape can be added to recreate his mysterious appearance from the first episode when boarding the ship to rescue Morgan Elsbeth! Accessories include an orange-red lightsaber with LED light-up function, a lightsaber blade in motion, a lightsaber hilt, a variety of interchangeable hands, and a display base.
The head sculpt, in my personal opinion, is absolutely outstanding. It not only faithfully captures Ray Stevenson's facial contours, but also meticulously details the skin texture, fine lines, and the graying hair and beard, exuding an aura of calm composure and silent authority.
