American toy company Jazwares' "MICRO GALAXY SQUADRON" series, known for releasing affordable vehicle-themed toys from "Star Wars," has announced the release of a Target-exclusive product – the "Naboo N-1 Starfighter." It will have a suggested retail price of US$14.99 and is expected to be released on April 7, 2024!
The Naboo N-1 Starfighter is a combat aircraft used by the planet Naboo to defend its skies and surrounding space. In the Battle of Naboo from the film "Star Wars: The Phantom Menace," it engaged in combat with the Trade Federation's droid starfighters. Ultimately, young prodigy Anakin Skywalker piloted one of the N-1 Starfighters to destroy the Trade Federation's control ship, successfully repelling the enemy. This model was also modified into the Mandalorian's personal starfighter in the third season of the series "The Mandalorian."
This product stands approximately 8 inches tall, faithfully recreating the appearance of the Naboo N-1 Starfighter from the film. Its sleek, streamlined, sports car-like design showcases Naboo's craftsmanship and aesthetics, with propulsion-induced oil stains also visible behind the J-type thrusters on both sides and on the fuselage. The cockpit features an articulated mechanism, allowing the figures of young Anakin and R2-D2 to be placed inside the cockpit and droid compartment, letting them pilot the N-1 Starfighter through the vast reaches of space!
The "MICRO GALAXY SQUADRON" series will also continue to release other exciting models, such as Darth Vader's TIE Advanced x1 and the U-wing fighter from Rogue One!
