Japanese model manufacturer GOOD SMILE COMPANY's mechanical-themed toy brand 'MECHA SMILE' today, at the "Mecha Smile Impact Mechanical Model Festival 2024 WINTER in Korea," unveiled for the first time the developing prototype of its latest product, "THE GATTAI Land Bison," based on "The Brave Fighter of Legend Da-Garn." Release date is TBD.
Trailer Brave, Drill Brave, Sonic Brave, and Turbo Brave, along with Da-Garn and others, are among the eight Braves who have protected Earth since ancient times. These four Land Braves each possess the appearance of modern land vehicles. In addition to transforming into their individual robot forms, they can also combine into the massive land combat robot, "Land Bison." In contrast to the aerial combat-oriented Sky Brave, Land Bison excels in land and sea operations. His bold and rugged personality might suggest a powerful close-combat character, but in reality, various projectile weapons are his true forte. Upon his first appearance, he used the Land Cannon on his back to shoot a thrown shield, precisely downing enemy aircraft with ricochets.
This time, MECHA SMILE showcased the developing prototype of the combined four-unit "THE GATTAI Land Bison." It was also announced that the individual Braves—Trailer Brave, Drill Brave, Sonic Brave, and Turbo Brave—will all feature individual transformation mechanisms, allowing them to recreate both their vehicle and robot forms.
