JADA TOYS, a toy manufacturer renowned for its collectible scale model cars, received widespread acclaim from players last year for its line of toys based on Capcom's "Street Fighter" series. Recently, following popular characters like Ryu and Chun-Li, the company announced it will once again release a new product themed after "Street Fighter II" – the "M. Bison" 6-inch action figure. The suggested retail price is US$24.99, with an anticipated release in July 2024!
M. Bison is a classic villain from Capcom's "Street Fighter" series, first appearing in "Street Fighter II." He is a potential dictator and megalomaniac whose ultimate goal is to control the entire world using his secret criminal organization. M. Bison's original Japanese name is "ベガ (Vega)." Due to another character, "Balrog" (M. Bison in Japan), being too similar to the famous American boxer Mike Tyson, the names of the Four Heavenly Kings were swapped in the Western versions during translation. Therefore, this M. Bison figure, released by the American brand JADA TOYS, appears under the name Bison!
This M. Bison figure stands approximately 15 cm tall, faithfully recreating his white eyes and classic red military uniform from the game. His muscular physique, enhanced by the dominant red color, makes him appear even more imposing, exuding the powerful aura of a major villain! The cape is made of fabric material with an embedded wire, enhancing the dynamism of poses and allowing for more expressive displays. It can also be swapped with shoulder pads for a cape-less look, offering collectors more styling options. Accessories include purple effect parts for M. Bison's punches, allowing you to recreate his devastating punching poses!
The outer box features a window-box design crafted in the style of the classic "Street Fighter II" arcade cabinet, recreating the initial excitement of the game while allowing collectors a sneak peek at the product's appeal!
