Following the release of "Hitori Gotoh," GOOD SMILE COMPANY's popular "Nendoroid" series, which boasts over a thousand different figures, has once again announced its latest product from the popular anime Bocchi the Rock!: the "Nendoroid Hitori Gotoh Approval-Seeking Monster Ver."! Priced at 5,800 JPY, it is scheduled for release in September 2024.
In episode four of Bocchi the Rock!, titled "Jumping Girl(s)," Bocchi "Hitori Gotoh" was taking band promotional photos with the members of Kessoku Band. When Nijika suggested creating a social media account, Bocchi's imagination exploded—the originally dark and twisted Tsuchinoko transformed upon contact with 'that thing' (SNS), roaring, "Give me likes~! More likes~!", and thus, the colossal "Approval-Seeking Monster" was born!
The "Nendoroid Hitori Gotoh Approval-Seeking Monster Ver.," standing approximately 10 cm tall, faithfully recreates Bocchi's transformation into the Approval-Seeking Monster! The green monster suit contrasts sharply with her pink hair, and her crying, shouting, and double-thumbs-up pose is incredibly adorable~ It comes with two interchangeable face plates: the "Give Me Likes Face" and the "Void Face" for when she's contemplating alone after destroying the city. Paired with fire breath effects, a "Give Me Likes" dialogue plate, and the inner packaging background sheet, this Nendoroid perfectly reproduces the iconic scene~ Additionally, the super cute "Hitori Gotoh Tsuchinoko Ver." is also included for display!
