Max Factory, a Japanese model manufacturer, will release the latest entry in their popular "figma" action figure series from Nintendo's popular video game "The Legend of Zelda: Tears of the Kingdom," titled "figma Link: Tears of the Kingdom ver." It has a suggested retail price of 9,900 JPY and is scheduled for release in February 2025! The deluxe "figma Link: Tears of the Kingdom ver. DX Edition" has also been revealed simultaneously.
"figma Link: Tears of the Kingdom ver." features an articulated design at approximately 1/12 scale (15 cm), bringing Link, in his new Champion's Tunic from "Tears of the Kingdom," to life! The superb sculpt meticulously details the armor, chainmail, and fabric textures, as well as rich details like the straps, waist-mounted bottle accessories, quiver, and arrows. Accessories include his signature "Master Sword," the intricately patterned "Hylian Shield," a fabric "Hylian Hooded Cloak," and more. Coupled with figma's original joint design, you can recreate dynamic battle poses; with dedicated attachment parts, the shield can be stored on his back, just like in the game! Furthermore, three face plates are included: a neutral "standard face," a gentle "smiling face," and a powerful "shouting face," allowing you to swap them according to different situations.
