The new branch "30 MINUTES FANTASY" of the original plastic model kit series "30 MINUTES", launched by BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division of Japan, has officially announced its first product, "30MF Liber Knight", scheduled for release in August 2024.
"30 MINUTES FANTASY" is a new series themed around various occupations in a fantasy world, inheriting the characteristics of 30 MINUTES such as easy assembly, simple structure, and infinite expansion and customization. It allows for the assembly of a body unit with articulated joints as flexible as a human body, and by using the 3mm expansion ports on various parts of the body unit, different job exteriors can be swapped on. As the product lineup expands, it can gradually change from beginner jobs to advanced jobs, constantly strengthening the character, much like a job change system in an RPG game.
The currently released Liber Republic Knight, "Liber Knight", has a water-element core installed in the chest of its body unit. Both the head and helmet designs differ from the separately sold "Lothan Knight". The body unit's articulation possesses a flexibility akin to that of a real human, and with articulated mechanisms designed in the limbs, chest, waist, neck, and other areas, it can be posed in natural and cool stances. After attaching the beginner job "Knight" armor, one-handed sword, and shield to various parts of the body unit, it becomes the Liber Knight.
Notably, the shoulder and waist armor are not directly attached to the main body; instead, they are connected to articulated axes on the back. This reduces interference with limb articulation and expands the range of motion, allowing for powerful sword-swinging, cross-legged sitting, and other poses. Furthermore, the connection points on the upper arms, wrists, thighs, and other areas adopt the common 3mm standard of the "30 MINUTES" series, allowing for free customization using parts from "30MF Upgrade Armor" or the "30MM" and "30MS" series.
