Japanese toy brand MEDICOM TOY's popular 6-inch action figure series "MAFEX", following the "Homelander" released in 2021, is once again launching a new product based on the super popular R-rated superhero series "The Boys" - the "The Deep" 6-inch action figure. The suggested retail price is 12,980 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in February 2025!
"The Deep", one of The Seven, bullied the protagonist Starlight when she was first selected to join The Seven, revealing the hypocrisy of supes who present themselves as heroes to the public. As the story progresses, The Deep's various circumstances make viewers both pity him and feel disgusted by his actions, making him a character that audiences love to hate!
This product stands approximately 16 cm tall, recreating The Deep's appearance from the series. His verdigris-colored, scale-covered superhero suit features a reflective effect with pearlescent paint. The head sculpt meticulously reproduces the likeness of actor Chace Crawford, and three different head sculpts are included, including his shaved head look after his superhero career fell apart. Accessories include the razor used for shaving his head and the beverage can he endorsed after joining the religious group "The Church of the Collective", allowing collectors to recreate The Deep's various amusing poses at home!
