Japanese soft vinyl toy brand NEO PLAYER ONE (Neo Player One Co., Ltd.) recently announced their latest products from the video game "Cuphead": "Cuphead" and "Mugman"! Lottery sales are scheduled to begin in May 2024, with a suggested retail price of 14,000 JPY per figure.
Developed by Studio MDHR, the shooting game "Cuphead" centers around the brothers Cuphead and Mugman, who lose their souls in a gamble with the Devil. Indebted, they are forced to obey the Devil's commands and embark on a life-or-death "debt collection" mission! This game is renowned for its retro cartoon-like visuals, old TV static effects, and challenging levels. Despite its incredibly fun and cute graphics, the sheer volume of enemy projectiles is astonishing! Players must hone their precise dodging skills to defeat bosses and clear stages with very little health.
NEO PLAYER ONE has not yet revealed the detailed specifications for these soft vinyl figures of Cuphead and Mugman. However, the adjusted Q-style body proportions, shorter limbs compared to the original design, and the sculpted facial expressions are all excellent. The leather shoes also feature a glossy paint finish. Articulation appears to be present at the head and arms. Overall, they are incredibly cute, making them a must-have pair for any collection!
