The Japanese manga "Frieren: Beyond Journey's End (葬送のフリーレン)," originally written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe, tells the story of the elven mage Frieren, who, along with the human hero Himmel, the dwarven warrior Eisen, and the human priest Heiter, returns as a hero after a ten-year adventure. Frieren, who can live for a thousand years without aging, perceives the passage of time differently from mortals. After experiencing the deaths and aging of her companions, she regrets not having truly understood others. Frieren embarks on a new journey to experience the meaning of life and time.
The elCOCO "Frieren & Fern" 1/7 scale figures are inspired by their journey to Ende, depicting a scene where they are gently swaying in a carriage along the way. Frieren measures approximately 11 cm tall, with a sitting pose where her knees are bent and a subtle, tilted-head expression, giving her a pensive look. Fern, on the other hand, sits gently sideways, her understated black robe exuding a calm and steady charm. They can be displayed individually or arranged together to recreate the scene of the two leaning on each other in the carriage.
