GOOD SMILE COMPANY's latest "Huggy" series will feature five main characters from the anime "Evangelion: New Theatrical Edition" with the release of "Huggy Shinji/Rei/Asuka/Kaworu/Mari School Uniform ver." Each figure will have a suggested retail price of 1,800 JPY and is scheduled for release in October 2024!
The brand-new deformed figure series, "Huggy Good Smile," reinterprets characters with a cute design and a compact size of approximately 65 mm. Each figure features a magnet in its head, and its round, short arms can swing up and down to create a hugging pose. The "Huggy Shinji/Rei/Asuka/Kaworu/Mari School Uniform ver." figures are styled in their classic school uniforms, incorporating a unique cute aesthetic, such as star and flower patterns in their eyes, and rounded edges on their hair. The magnetic design allows them to be used not only as regular decorations but also to be attached to office desks, whiteboards, refrigerators, and other surfaces, making their "begging for hugs" presence ubiquitous!
