BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division's TAMASHII NATIONS, a Japanese company, has announced a new product under its S.H.Figuarts action figure brand: the "Giyu Tomioka" action figure, based on the popular anime "Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba." It will have a suggested retail price of 8,250 JPY and is scheduled for release in September 2024!
Giyu Tomioka is the "Water Hashira" among the current Nine Pillars, mastering the Water Breathing technique. He possesses a calm demeanor and decisive actions; though he is not good at socializing, he is actually very kind. At the beginning of the series, Giyu Tomioka saved Tanjiro and the newly transformed demon Nezuko, sending them to be trained by their master Sakonji Urokodaki. Later, Giyu also slightly let go of his self-blame over the deaths of his loved ones due to Tanjiro's words, becoming more expressive of his emotions.
This S.H.Figuarts Giyu Tomioka stands approximately 15 cm tall and is sculpted in Giyu's "half-and-half haori" attire from the anime. The costume features bold segmentation, faithfully recreating his in-series appearance while ensuring high articulation, allowing for various cool poses! Accessories include three interchangeable face parts, three pairs of interchangeable hands, and Giyu's Nichirin Blade. With these abundant accessories, you can display him alongside the previously released "Tanjiro Kamado" and "Nezuko Kamado" to recreate various interesting scenes!
