BANDAI SPIRITS Hobby Division in Japan recently announced the ninth product in their 1/144 scale model kit "Option Parts Set Gunpla" series, the "Giant Gatling," scheduled for release in July 2024.
The Giant Gatling originates from the 2014 anime series "Gundam Build Fighters Try," where it was a large weapon equipped by members of the Private Granada Academy on the Geara Doga. With its six barrels, it rapidly fires beam rounds, offering both high accuracy and destructive power.
The "1/144 Option Parts Set Gunpla 09 (Giant Gatling)" is essentially identical to the HGBC 1/144 version released in 2015. It includes the Giant Gatling main unit, along with optional barrel covers, sensors, muzzles, a tripod, connection parts, and decorative parts. The grip section also includes parts compatible with both 1/144 and 1/100 scales, allowing a wider range of mobile suit models to equip this weapon.
