Hot Toys "Star Wars: Darth Maul With Sith Speeder" 1/6th Scale Collectible Figure

The world-renowned Hong Kong toy manufacturer Hot Toys recently launched its "Star Wars: The Power of the Dark Side" exhibition at Cityplaza in Hong Kong last week, featuring many exciting themed products. Today, we're bringing you a look at a new product released to celebrate the 25th anniversary of "Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace" – the "Darth Maul With Sith Speeder" 1/6th scale collectible figure. With a suggested retail price of HKD 2,590, it will be available for online pre-order on May 4th, Star Wars Day, and is expected to be released in Q2 to Q3 2024!

Darth Maul, the main antagonist of "Star Wars: Episode I – The Phantom Menace," is the apprentice of Darth Sidious, tasked with capturing Queen Amidala of Naboo. When Darth Maul first appeared before the protagonists on Tatooine, he was cloaked and riding a Sith Speeder, engaging in a confrontation with Qui-Gon Jinn that set the stage for future conflicts.

This 1/6th scale Darth Maul collectible figure is crafted with even greater detail, bringing the product closer to Darth Maul's on-screen appearance. The sculpt meticulously captures actor Ray Park's facial features and his fierce, intimidating expression, while the rolling eyeball feature vividly recreates Darth Maul's visage. The costume adheres to the on-screen design, utilizing fabric and leather materials to faithfully reproduce Darth Maul's Sith attire. A new fitted robe has also been added, recreating his powerful presence during his Tatooine debut!

Accessories include the binoculars used when observing the protagonists. Of course, Darth Maul's iconic double-bladed lightsaber is also included, featuring an LED light-up function to replicate the lightsaber's glowing effect. Another major highlight of this product is the "Sith Speeder," which measures approximately 33 cm in length. Its design meticulously recreates various details and mechanical structures on the vehicle. The handlebars feature an articulated design, and the dashboard and rear indicator lights have an LED light-up function that can be powered via USB. Two styles of display bases are also provided, adding to the enjoyment of display for all collectors!
