The alloy model "AMAKUNI KISHIN" series, a collaboration between HobbyJapan's model brand AMAKUNI and Sentinel, officially announced its more evolved spin-off series, "AMAKUNI Chokishin," at the "Shizuoka Hobby Show 2024" held this week. A prototype of the "Genesic GaoGaiGar" product, currently under development, was also displayed at the venue.

The "AMAKUNI KISHIN Genesic GaoGaiGar," released in 2020, was jointly developed by AMAKUNI and Sentinel, with mechanical designer Toshinao Miyauchi in charge of product design. This pre-assembled Genesic GaoGaiGar model, approximately 24 cm tall, was crafted from composite materials such as alloy parts and ABS. While its cool design, exquisite paint quality, and ingenious weapon mechanisms received high praise, its high price and lack of a transformation/combination mechanism were drawbacks that deterred many.

This newly developed "AMAKUNI Chokishin Genesic GaoGaiGar" will be redesigned based on the AMAKUNI KISHIN's styling to feature "full transformation and combination" specifications. This means that Galeon and the five Genesic Machines can directly combine into Genesic GaoGaiGar through their precise transformation and combination mechanisms, without the need for part swapping. However, only the separated prototypes of each machine were displayed at the venue, and the combined form has not yet been revealed.
