Japan's Megahouse toy company, under its "G.E.M." series which brings numerous anime and manga characters to life, has announced a new product based on "BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc" – the "Byakuya Kuchiki" pre-painted figure. It is priced at 29,700 Japanese Yen and is scheduled for release in October 2024!
In "BLEACH: Thousand-Year Blood War Arc," Captain Byakuya Kuchiki of the Gotei 13's 6th Division, facing the invading Sternritter in Soul Society, judged his opponent to be one that could not be defeated without Bankai. Therefore, even knowing that his Bankai might be sealed, he activated "Senbonzakura Kageyoshi," instructing Renji to observe how to break the seal. Unexpectedly, at the moment of activation, his Bankai was stolen by his opponent, "F" Äs Nödt, using a medallion.
This product is crafted based on Byakuya Kuchiki's appearance during his Bankai activation in the anime, capturing his consistently calm and composed expression. It faithfully recreates his Shinigami attire from the Thousand-Year Blood War Arc, depicting the moment he releases his Zanpakuto, Senbonzakura, from his hand. The base is designed with a water ripple effect and features cherry blossom petal effects, using translucent material to reproduce the faintly glowing Senbonzakura as seen in the anime. The petals swirl around Byakuya, recreating the magnificent scene of Captain Kuchiki activating his Bankai, "Senbonzakura Kageyoshi"!
