The 'S.H.MonsterArts' series, released by Japan's BANDAI SPIRITS Collectors Division TAMASHII NATIONS, which combines exquisite monster sculpting with outstanding articulation technology, announced today the release of the "Godzilla (2016) Fourth Form ORTHOchromatic Ver." from the film "Shin Godzilla: ORTHOchromatic," scheduled for November 2024.

The Godzilla that appeared in the film "Shin Godzilla" was jointly designed by director Hideaki Anno, designer Mahiro Maeda, and sculptor Takayuki Takeya, among others. It is a colossal "perfect organism" capable of freely and rapidly evolving and devolving, quickly adapting to its environment, undergoing several evolutions within hours of landing in Japan. Godzilla possesses a "thermonuclear energy conversion bio-organ" within its body, seemingly able to generate immense energy and release radioactive substances without needing to eat. The heat ray it emits from its mouth instantly transforms Tokyo's bustling streets into a sea of fire, completely beyond the current scope of human knowledge.

The "Godzilla (2016) Fourth Form ORTHOchromatic Ver." is a modification of the previously released standard version. Its overall sculpt is based on the 3D model used in the film, with sculptor Takayuki Takeya handling the prototype sculpting and color design. It meticulously recreates the rough skin texture of the "bitter gourd" version, slender foreclaws, a mouth full of chaotic teeth, and chillingly tiny eye sculpt. The overall color scheme utilizes a special matte gray paint application, significantly reducing light reflection on the body surface, thereby recreating the grayscale tones seen in the black-and-white film "Shin Godzilla: ORTHOchromatic."

Other designs remain consistent with the standard version, boasting an impressive size of approximately 180mm in height and 400mm in length. The full body's articulated joints, achieved through precise part segmentation, maintain both sculptural integrity and range of motion. Abundant articulation is present in the mouth, neck, torso, limbs, and extremely long tail, allowing for the recreation of scenes from the film.
