Japanese toy company Megahouse's "G.E.M." series, which brings numerous anime and manga characters to life in 3D, has launched the RUN!RUN!RUN! series based on "ONE PIECE". Following "Nami RUN! RUN! RUN!", the eleventh installment in the series, "Vivi RUN! RUN! RUN!", has been released. The suggested retail price is 7,920 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in late October 2024!
The RUN!RUN!RUN! series is inspired by the second ending theme song of the "ONE PIECE" East Blue Saga, "RUN!RUN!RUN!" sung by Maki Otsuki, and the running scenes of the Straw Hat Pirates in their childhood forms shown in the ending credits. It features PVC figures of many ONE PIECE characters in their childhood designs. Previously released fan-favorite characters include Sanji, Ace, Sabo, Yamato, and others!
This "Vivi RUN! RUN! RUN!" figure is crafted based on Oda's illustration of young Vivi, faithfully recreating her dynamic pose as she runs with her ponytail, wearing a checkered dress and slippers. The base is designed to resemble Vivi's homeland, Alabasta, reproducing its earthy yellow and domed exotic architecture. Seeing Vivi running carefree in her homeland naturally brings a sense of joy! The head sculpt also retains the series' consistent spherical articulation, allowing collectors to rotate it to suit display needs and pair with other characters!
