The Danish LEGO toy company's upcoming May 2024 Gift With Purchase (GWP) set "40687 Space Diner" has been revealed! Release information for Taiwan has also been announced: from May 14th to May 31st, customers who purchase LEGO sets totaling NT$3,450 or more at official LEGO Certified Stores will receive it for free.
This set contains a total of 239 pieces. Once assembled, you get an open-plan space diner. Not only is it colorful, but you can also rotate the green alien chef. The light blue and white checkered floor, the "DINER" sign placed outside the store, and the mini rocket decoration above the wall... all are incredibly cute. The alien chef clearly looks very busy, having to deliver and prepare meals – quite the hard work! The minifigure section includes two highly popular classic spacemen, one white and one orange. It's worth noting that the orange spaceman was previously only included as a bonus with the book "LEGO Minifigure: A Visual History," making it a rather rare minifigure.
