Mattel Creations, the online sales platform of American toy company Mattel that collaborates with fan creators to sell their works, will launch a new product in its "Little People Collector" series, which transforms various pop culture elements into mini figures – the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Origins" Special Edition Mini Figure Set. The suggested retail price is US$25, and it is scheduled to be released on the Mattel Creations official website on May 17th at 09:00 AM Pacific Time.
"Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" are comic characters created by cartoonists Kevin Eastman and Peter Laird. The two met and lived together early on, inspired by Marvel's renowned cartoonist Jack Kirby, and established "Mirage Studio" in their garage. During a doodle session, they coincidentally drew ninja-like turtle characters, and after repeated brainstorming, they developed and created the "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" independent comic series. In the early comics, the Ninja Turtles' bandanas were all red, and their distinctions had to be made by their weapons. Features like colorful eye masks and distinct personalities were only added when toys were released. Through the release of toys and animation, these four mutant turtles later gradually grew into well-known New York heroes!
This product transforms the four turtle heroes into mini figures for the "Little People Collector" series, paying homage to the original "Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles" independent black-and-white comics. The mini figures are painted in a gray, white, and red color scheme, and the differences between the four characters are presented through their four weapons: katana, sai, nunchaku, and bo staff. Each turtle also displays a different fierce expression, recreating the dark art style of the original comic in a cute proportion!

The outer box also features illustrations of the Ninja Turtles in mini figure form, rendered in a gray, white, and red color scheme. On the side, a fierce Krang can be seen watching the turtles. The front features a window design, allowing toy collectors to proudly display this super cute Ninja Turtles collection even without opening the box!
