Japan's TAKARA TOMY company's toy brand T-ARTS (Takara Tomy Arts Co., Ltd.) is set to release its latest product from the sci-fi comedy film "Back to the Future" this May: the "Back to the Future Rubber Mascot 2" (バック・トゥ・ザ・フューチャー ラバーマスコット2) Gashapon! Each capsule costs 300 JPY, with a total of 5 types to collect.
Unlike the previously released "Back to the Future -Movie Prop Collection-" three-dimensional works, this time T-ARTS has opted for lighter, softer rubber to create classic symbols from "Back to the Future," transforming them into ball chain mascots. The size is quite substantial, approximately 6.4-7.5 cm. Among them, the time machine that appeared in the first series not only reappears from a different angle but is also infused with luminous material to achieve a glow-in-the-dark visual effect, which is absolutely fantastic!
Additionally, the collection includes the key device for time travel - the Flux capacitor (Flux capacitor), the Time circuits located inside the car (Time circuits), Marty, whose outfit looks exactly like an alien invasion, and a "Back to the Future" item almanac that reinterprets and pays homage to the sports almanac from the movie! Although the rubber mascot itself is a thin piece, the details carved on it and the color presentation are excellent.
