Japan's GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE" is releasing the "POP UP PARADE Kikoru Shinomiya" PVC figure, based on the popular series "Kaiju No. 8"! The suggested retail price is 4,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in November 2024!
Hailed as the greatest genius girl in history, Kikoru Shinomiya is a fellow cadet who participated in the Defense Force examination alongside Kafka. She is the daughter of Defense Force Commander Isao Shinomiya, and has received strict education and training since childhood, possessing powerful squad leader-level abilities even during the examination. She has high expectations for herself and is very confident, initially looking down on Kafka for participating in the examination at an advanced age (?). However, after being saved by Kaiju No. 8 and learning Kafka's true identity, she gradually develops feelings for him.
The "POP UP PARADE Kikoru Shinomiya" PVC figure stands approximately 16 cm tall, faithfully recreating Kikoru Shinomiya's cool appearance in her Defense Force uniform! Her striking blonde twin-tails appear quite rigid (?), and details such as her armor, waist pouch, and boots are meticulously rendered. The Defense Force battle suit is intricately sculpted, snugly enveloping her slender physique. Holding a submachine gun in her hand, she can be displayed alongside other figures from the same series to fully capture the world of Kaiju No. 8!
