GOOD SMILE COMPANY's affordable pre-painted figure series "POP UP PARADE" from Japan is releasing the "POP UP PARADE Soshiro Hoshina" PVC figure, based on the popular series "Kaiju No. 8"! The suggested retail price is 4,800 JPY, and it is scheduled for release in November 2024!
Soshiro Hoshina, the Vice-Captain of the Japan Defense Force's Third Division, is the superior of protagonist Kafka Hibino. He usually maintains a mysterious squint, proving incredibly reliable in critical moments! Hailing from a family of Kaiju exterminators that has continued since the Muromachi period, his specialized weapons are two sabers, excelling in close combat and suited for battling smaller Kaiju.
The "POP UP PARADE Soshiro Hoshina" PVC figure stands approximately 17 cm tall, faithfully recreating Soshiro Hoshina's memorable mushroom-cut hairstyle with triangular bangs! His signature squinting eyes are paired with an enigmatic, mysterious smile! The Defense Force uniform is meticulously sculpted, and with both hands poised to draw the twin blades from his waist, he exudes an unexpectedly contrasting sense of intimidation! Display him alongside other figures from the series to fully capture the world of Kaiju No. 8!
